Early home buyers who have struggled to enter the market have been helped with almost 40 new homes set to come to market in one of the largest urban housing developments in Adelaide’s western suburbs.
Backed by SA developer Fairland, the $17.5 million The Canopy Apartments at St James in Kidman Park project will feature 38 architecturally designed, affordable one and two-bedroom homes priced from $595,000.

The project – the developer’s first apartment project – aims to provide first-time homeowners with greater choice and a more affordable entry point.

The complex is located near the St. James commercial district, which includes grocery, retail, child care, healthcare and other neighborhood amenities. It is designed by SA-based Jabba Design and engineered by Built MG. Each apartment has a parking space. with bicycle parking spaces for residents and visitor parking spaces.

Construction of the project, which covers an area of 11 hectares between the city and the sea, is expected to begin this year. The entire complex will contain around 300 apartments and cover 1.6 hectares of open space.
